As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer at dbt Labs, you will be the engine behind our growth. Your mission is to identify, engage, and qualify world-class talent to fuel our Sales, Marketing, and Revenue-generating teams. This isn't just about finding resumes; it’s about market mapping, strategic outreach, and acting as a talent advisor in a high-velocity environment.

You will support a high-performing team of US-based recruiters, acting as their \"secret weapon\" to build robust front-of-funnel pipelines. This role is an accelerator for professional growth for someone passionate about Talent Acquisition—you’ll be juggling multiple competing priorities while receiving unparalleled coaching and development from some of the most respected Recruiters in the industry.

What You'll Do

  • Build High-Impact Pipelines: Design and execute creative sourcing strategies to find top-tier talent for Sales, Marketing, and wider GTM roles that unlock revenue for the business.

  • Master the \"Front of Funnel\": Own the candidate journey from first touch to initial screen. You’ll be the first voice of dbt Labs, ensuring every candidate has a premium experience.

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with US-based Recruiters and Hiring Managers to calibrate on \"what good, great, excellent looks like\" and pivot strategies based on real-time market feedback.

  • Navigate Complexity: Manage multiple high-priority searches simultaneously. You’ll need to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift overnight.

  • Data-Driven Market Mapping: Create reusable talent pools and build Total Addressable Market Maps to leverage insights to guide open searches. You’ll provide stakeholders with insights on competitor movement, diversity data, and compensation trends.

  • Continuous Learning: Lean into a culture of mentorship. You will actively participate in training sessions led by industry veterans to sharpen your sourcing, influence, and negotiation skills.

What You Bring

  • Agility & Grit: You thrive in fast-paced environments and aren't afraid of a \"competing priority.\" You know how to triage your desk to hit hiring targets.

  • GTM Expertise: Previous experience sourcing for Sales, Revenue, or Marketing roles—either in-house or at a fast-paced agency—is highly preferred.

  • Sourcing Craft: You are a Boolean wizard and know your way around LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools, and creative alternative channels (GitHub, Slack communities, etc.).

  • Communication Mastery: You write emails that people actually want to read. You have the \"soft skills\" to build rapport with passive candidates and the \"hard skills\" to influence internal stakeholders.

  • Growth Mindset: You are a \"student of the game.\" You have a growth-mindset and hunger for feedback, with a deep desire to be coached by the best in the business.

  • Organizational Excellence: You maintain a clean ATS (Greenhouse) and prioritize data integrity so your pipelines are always transparent and actionable.

What You Can Expect From Us

  • World-Class Mentorship: You won't just be \"doing tasks\"—you'll be learning the philosophy of elite recruiting from leaders who have scaled some of the world's most successful SaaS companies.

  • Impact: dbt Labs is at the center of the modern data stack. Your work directly determines the caliber of the people who will drive our revenue and brand.

  • Growth + Development: We are a team of GTM Recruiters that are high-performing and low ego. You won’t just be filling reqs; you’ll be mastering the craft. We offer a front-row seat to world-class TA Org. We celebrate the wins, lean into the feedback, and operate as a tight-knit team.
