Within the Consumer Product Office of UHC, the Director of Product, MarTech, is accountable for the successful delivery of M&R business scope and plays a crucial role as the liaison between the business and engineering teams. This leader will be responsible for working with the business to understand and define clear scope and success criteria and translate that into an execution strategy in partnership with engineering and other key stakeholders. They will lead a team to: gather requirements, write product features, manage priorities and backlogs, and ensure capabilities are delivered with quality - looking E2E to ensure we are seamlessly delivering for our business and our members. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities Define what success looks like and align core stakeholders to the shared goal/vision/definition of success Lead discussions with the business to understand, solidify, and prioritize scope based on what outcomes the business is trying to drive Lead a team that is accountable for gathering requirements and writing feature that facilitate migration of current M&R marketing campaigns and capabilities Actively prioritize the backlog, ensuring alignment with business stakeholders, partner product teams, and engineering leaders to ensure top needs are met Manage the E2E delivery timeline from initiation through quality delivery, addressing any issues that arise Partner with other Product teams to ensure dependencies are accounted for within the required timeline for campaign deployment Monitor, manage and communicate risks, finding creative solutions and removing obstacles Communicate key program information all levels to ensure the utmost transparency and alignment from working team through executive-level readouts You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications Product Management experience including building and executing complex Product Roadmaps Proven experience influencing cross-functional business and technical partners Medicare and Retirement Product Offering knowledge including product structures/populations, key timelines (e.g. AEP vs. OEP), etc. Proven track record of simplifying business processes leading to improved consumer experiences Demonstrated solid communication skills, critical thinking skills, and ability to work in a matrixed environment Preferred Qualifications Proven experience as a people-leader Familiarity with Adobe AEP/AJO Familiarity with UHC M&R data (eligibility, claims, etc.) All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $132,200 to $226,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
