<div><p><b>What it’s like to be a Northbridge Senior Claims Adjuster in Subrogation</b></p><p></p><p>As a Senior Claims Adjuster on our National Subrogation team, you’ll play a critical role in the final stage of the claims lifecycle. Our team supports adjusters across Canada and is responsible for determining liability, pursuing recovery, and negotiating outcomes when our insured is not at fault. In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex, multi‑line commercial subrogation files and work closely with at‑fault insurers, legal partners, and internal claims teams.</p><p></p><p>This is a highly specialized position where you’ll lead litigation strategy, handle extensive documentation, and participate in mediations. You’ll also be joining a new, evolving team with national scope, offering a unique opportunity to influence processes, contribute to continuous improvement, and help shape the long‑term success of the department.</p><p></p></div><p><b><u>We want your talent!</u></b></p><p></p><p><b><span>If you are great at:</span></b></p><div><ul><li><p>Adjudicating intermediate to highly complex subrogation files, including large‑loss and litigated claims</p></li><li><p>Conducting thorough coverage and liability investigations with accuracy and attention to detail</p></li><li><p>Navigating multi‑line commercial claims and collaborating across departments and jurisdictions</p></li><li><p>Preparing detailed file summaries for internal reporting, large loss, reinsurance, and legal strategy</p></li><li><p>Negotiating confidently with insurers, counsel, and third parties to drive recovery</p></li><li><p>Managing a fast‑paced, file‑heavy workload while staying organized and calm</p></li><li><p>Providing an excellent customer experience while balancing technical and investigative rigor</p></li><li><p>Bringing forward new ideas and adapting to evolving team processes</p></li></ul></div><p></p><p><b>And you have:</b></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of subrogation experience, ideally with large-loss files</p></li><li><p>Strong <b>litigation experience</b> and confidence working closely with external and internal legal counsel</p></li><li><p>Multi-line <b>commercial insurance experience</b> (CGL, Auto, D&O, E&O, Property, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Completed or working towards the CIP designation</p></li><li><p>Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite</p></li><li><p>Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal Council</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>We really mean it when we say we put you first. The base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $113,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package.
