The TE Connectivity Sourcing Analyst IV is a senior commodity leader responsible for developing and executing multiyear global sourcing strategies that drive TE’s objectives for cost, quality, delivery, innovation, risk reduction, and sustainability. The role requires deep supply market expertise, strong cross functional influence, and the ability to convert business requirements into executable sourcing roadmaps.


This position leads end to end strategic sourcing, including market intelligence, competitive bidding, negotiation, supplier development, and long term contracting, while advancing TCO improvements, cross region collaboration, and lifecycle support.   • Identifies and mitigates risks related to supply continuity, capacity, geopolitics, quality, and financial stability.

Job Requirements

What your background should look like:


  • 5–7+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Commodity Management, or advanced Procurement roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global sourcing strategies and delivering measurable results.
  • Strong supplier management and supplier development background, ideally in a manufacturing or engineered‑products environment.
  • Expertise in cost analysis, should‑cost modeling, and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analytics tools, and sourcing dashboards; SAP PR2 or S/4 HANA experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven success in complex contract management.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, executive‑level presentations).
  • Project management experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence without authority in a global matrixed environment.

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $113,000- $ 142,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
