<p><strong>Job Overview</strong><br>We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and supporting financial reporting processes.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Facilitate the daily, monthly and yearly maintenance of general ledger accounting records to assure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of accounting information.<li>Process accounts payable transactions.<li>Conduct detailed account reconciliation procedures across general ledger accounts, bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to maintain precise financial records.<li>Manage journal entries process using accounting software.<li>Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including general ledger review.<li>Support internal audits and external audits by providing documentation and explanations for financial transactions.<li>Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections while maintaining accurate records.<li>Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.<li>Cross-train on all accounting processes and other accounting functions as required.<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting standards.<li>Skilled in financial report writing, interpretation of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and account reconciliation.<li>Strong analytical skills combined with excellent attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.</ul><p><strong>Education & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.<li>5+ years of accounting experience.<li>Understanding of workflows in a manufacturing environment.<li>High proficiency with Microsoft applications, including an advanced understanding of complex Excel formulas and applications.</ul><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Health insurance<li>Paid sick time<li>Paid time off</ul><p>Work Location: In person</p><p>Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $28.00 - $38.00
