About the position

The Senior EDI Analyst is responsible for executing and overseeing end-to-end implementation, including testing and validation of electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions across Coca-Cola’s trading partner ecosystem. This role ensures accurate processing of inbound and outbound documents by validating master data, system configurations, and transaction flows in SAP and Route Accounting systems. The Senior Analyst collaborates with internal teams, trading partners, and vendors to resolve issues, lead certification testing, and confirm readiness for production deployment. Acting as a subject matter expert for EDI testing, this position drives quality assurance, supports onboarding initiatives, and contributes to continuous improvement of integration processes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end testing of EDI transaction flows (e.g., 850/875 → 856 → 810) across SAP and distributor/route accounting systems (e.g., eoStar, VIP, or similar).
  • Validate trading partner profiles and ensure customer, material, and pricing master data are correctly configured before testing.
  • Simulate and receive inbound orders from trading partners, confirm accurate system processing, and validate expected outbound responses (e.g., ASN/856, Invoice/810).
  • Perform functional validation of customer setups in SAP and other backend systems; confirm IDocs process end-to-end without errors.
  • Collaborate with the EDI Manager, business stakeholders, and vendors (e.g., OpenText) to resolve mapping issues, test failures, or master data gaps.
  • Document and maintain reusable test cases, regression scenarios, and step-by-step validation guides.
  • Support partner onboarding certification by running test cycles, providing results to trading partners, and confirming readiness for production cutover.
  • Investigate transaction errors and assist with root cause analysis in collaboration with support teams.
  • Ensure adherence to Coca-Cola integration standards and service-level expectations during testing and certification.
  • Provide feedback to improve testing processes, tools, and automation opportunities.
  • Train junior analysts and business users on EDI testing procedures and basic troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of EDI X12 transaction sets, particularly 850 (PO), 875 (Grocery PO), 856 (ASN), and 810 (Invoice).
  • Familiarity with SAP IDoc processing, error resolution, and document flow (SD/MM modules preferred).
  • Experience with distributor/route accounting systems such as eoStar, VIP, or Encompass.
  • Hands-on experience testing EDI integrations and validating end-to-end flows between trading partners and SAP.
  • Working knowledge of master data management (customers, materials, pricing, and partner profiles).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for data mismatches, IDoc errors, and transaction failures.
  • Familiarity with EDI mapping concepts and testing tools (e.g., OpenText ALLOY, Contivo, LENS).
  • Ability to clearly document test results, defects, and resolutions for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across IT, vendors, and business teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple parallel test cycles.
  • Customer-focused, with a problem-solving mindset and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Minimum: High School Diploma / GED with relevant hands-on EDI experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with EDI standards and transaction testing.
  • 5+ years of experience working with SAP IDocs and/or distributor systems (eoStar, VIP, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience in an analyst/tester role managing end-to-end EDI testing cycles, including onboarding and certification.
  • Prior experience documenting test cases, regression scenarios, and coordinating defect resolution with vendors and partners.
  • Willingness and ability to travel or come into the office as required by the business.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business.
  • EDI or SAP certification/training is a plus.
  • Occasional travel to Bottler locations for collaboration or technical conferences to represent the CCBSS B2B Team.
