About the role:
As a Senior Manager, Category Management COE, you will lead the Westinghouse category management Center of Excellence organization. You will improve cost-efficient supply chain strategies designed to meet our requirements. You will lead the enterprise COE, ensuring world-class category strategies, supplier risk management, and execution discipline across BUs. You will report to the Senior Director, Supply Chain and work remote. 100% Remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support for a category management organization leading supply chain category strategy across all sectors of Westinghouse to support +$5B of overall spend.
    • Budget Leadership & Cost Savings Accountability
      • Lead the annual budget planning process for Category Management, ensuring agreement on enterprise priorities, spend forecasts, and strategic projects.
    • Supplier Risk Management & Resilience
      • Lead the enterprise SRM program, including risk taxonomy, dashboards, and escalation routines.
    • Contracts Team Leadership & Customer‑Focused Delivery
      • Lead the Contracts team to operate as a customer‑focused, solutions‑oriented partner to company partners and the supply base.
    • Strategy, Standards & Governance
      • Lead the enterprise Category Management framework, playbooks, and templates.
    • Lead Tactical Category Management Support Team
      • Lead the team responsible for tactical, execution-focused activities. These activities enable Category Managers to operate strategically, including data prep, analysis, supplier research, RFx coordination, contracting package support, intake management, and standard work execution.
    • Operating System, Analytics & Performance
      • Lead the development tiered cadences/visual management (Get‑to‑Green) with the Operations team; define KPIs (savings, OTD, clearance, risk reduction); own data standards/dashboards.
    • Capability Building & Change Leadership
      • Assess competencies; design training paths; coach category managers and SRM leaders; run communities of practice.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Engineering or MBA degree preferred.
  • 5+years' experience in supply with a focus on category management
  • 5+years leadership experience
  • Nuclear power or regulated industry preferred.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $126,000 to $157,500 per year.
