Immediate Full-time/Contract positions for intermediate to high-level PLC Programmer

Mandatory, Able to work in the US and experience with PLC Integration, install, commission, and test controlled equipment applying appropriate customer standards to meet specifications required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Commission PLC controllers and configure Robots at customer site.
  • Commission HMI, Vision, Networks, and connect with PLCs.
  • Load proprietary software, verify implementation, execute commissioning tests.
  • Assist with system integration tests.
  • Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
  • Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
  • 100% remote & travel role to customer sites across the US and Canada

Qualifications

CRITICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two- or four-year degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
  • 1-5+ years of PLC programming experience in a professional environment
  • Good knowledge in several of the following specialties:
    • PLC (Rockwell Automation, PLCs, HMI, Allen Bradley, Siemens, IEC 61131)
    • Robot (ABB, Fanuc)
    • Industrial Network (Ethernet/IP, PoweLink, ProfiNet)
    • Interface Operator (Panel View Plus)
    • Skills to read electrical drawings
  • Ability to travel domestic and potentially internationally. Must have a valid driver’s license and a Valid Passport.
  • Experience with motion control equipment such as VFDs.
  • Able to debug and support via Remote Desktop, SSH, browser, etc.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate verbally or in writing with in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Holidays
  • Monday to Saturday
