Microsoft Project Expert for Construction Scheduling & Team Training

We are a luxury residential construction firm seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Project expert to support the implementation of our construction scheduling system and train our field team.

This is not a from-scratch schedule build—we already have a developed construction schedule. We need an expert to translate that schedule into Microsoft Project and ensure it is structured, optimized, and usable in a real-world jobsite environment.

Scope of Work

• Input and structure an existing construction schedule into Microsoft Project

• Set up task dependencies, durations, critical path, and logical sequencing

• Ensure the schedule is practical and aligned with field execution

• Create a clean, intuitive format for ongoing use by project managers and field staff

• Train team members on how to:

• Read and interpret the schedule

• Update progress and timelines

• Use Microsoft Project as a day-to-day tool

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Project (required)

• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing

• Experience working with residential or commercial construction teams (preferred)

• Ability to teach and communicate clearly with non-technical users

• Fluent in English (required)

• Prior training or coaching experience (strongly preferred)

Ideal Candidate

You are someone who understands both the technical side of scheduling and the realities of construction in the field. You can bridge the gap between software and boots-on-the-ground execution, and you know how to train a team so the system actually gets used.
