International Student Recruitment and Admissions Advisor
Base Salary: CA$40,000 to CA$48,000 per year
Plus Compensation: Base salary + annual bonus + generous commission + additional benefits

About Us

Birmingham International Collegiate of Canada (BICC) is a leading private high school in Toronto offering the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) to international students. We are known for high academic standards, personalized support, and excellent university pathways.

To support our continued growth, we are hiring multiple International Student Recruitment and Admissions Advisors with strong experience in the international education market.

About the Role

The Advisor will help drive BICC’s enrollment growth by developing and executing strategies to attract international students both locally and abroad. This role combines recruitment, admissions advising, business development, and student support.

You will work closely with school leadership to expand BICC’s presence internationally, build strong relationships with students and families, and maintain partnerships with global education agents.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Advising

  • Recruit and advise prospective international students on programs, admissions requirements, and pathways
  • Participate in recruitment initiatives, including education fairs, info sessions, school visits, and agent events (domestic and international)

Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with education agents and partner institutions
  • Support market development strategies and identify new recruitment opportunities

Student Support

  • Provide orientation and ongoing support to international students, including academic, cultural, settlement, safety, and university transfer guidance
  • Monitor student progress and refer students to additional supports when needed

Admissions and Administration

  • Support admissions processing, documentation, and follow up
  • Prepare recruitment materials, presentations, manuals, and promotional content
  • Perform related administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in international student recruitment
  • Strong understanding of Canadian secondary and postsecondary education systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (travel expenses covered)

Assets

  • Proficiency in additional languages such as Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish,
  • Experience in marketing, outreach, or business development
