About CyberFortress & The Opportunity

CyberFortress is an established, well-funded technology company with a robust and diversified portfolio in the mission-critical Backup as a Service (BaaS) and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) market. We are supported by a strong leadership team and are entering a phase of aggressive growth, focusing on both deepening our presence in existing markets and executing a strategic pivot into high-potential new markets. This role is a foundational executive position, tasked with personally driving the first phase of aggressive growth.

Role Overview

As the Global VP of Professional Services and Solutions, you will lead our global strategy to transform service delivery into a high-margin revenue engine and a primary driver of customer success. You will be responsible for the entire services portfolio—from initial implementation and disaster recovery planning to high-stakes advisory and incident response coordination. This role requires a data-driven leader who can build high-performance cultures and foster long-term relationships based on mutual success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Aggressive Growth: Personally lead the first phase of professional services scaling, focusing on high-value engagements that accelerate customer time-to-resilience.

  • Architect for Scale: Design and document the global SOPs, methodologies, and delivery frameworks that will allow the team to scale from dozens to hundreds of specialists.
  • Productize Solutions: Bridge the gap between product features and business outcomes by creating "off-the-shelf" service packages (e.g., Readiness Audits, Managed Recovery Drills).
  • High-Stakes Advisory: Act as the executive face of CyberFortress for enterprise clients, negotiating service-level agreements and advising CISOs on global recovery strategies.
  • P&L Leadership: Own the Professional Services P&L globally. Optimize margins and utilization while ensuring the "Recovery People™" maintain their gold-standard reputation.
  • Strategic Pivot Execution: Support our entry into new markets by building the technical service infrastructure required to win in complex, regulated, and emerging territories.

Who You Are

  • The Executive Builder: You thrive in the "zero-to-one" phase of a department's growth. You are willing to roll up your sleeves to lead a recovery project today while drafting the global hiring plan for tomorrow.

  • Mission-Driven: You understand that in DRaaS, "good enough" isn't an option. You are obsessed with 100% recovery success rates.
  • Data-Informed Leader: You use metrics (NRR, Utilization, CSAT, Gross Margin) to tell a story and pivot strategy in real-time.
  • Market Catalyst: You see Professional Services not as a cost center, but as the tip of the spear for Sales and the ultimate insurance for Customer Success.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 15+ years of leadership in Professional Services or Consulting, specifically within Cyber Security, Cloud Infrastructure, or Data Resilience.

  • Domain Mastery: Deep familiarity with Veeam-powered ecosystems, immutable storage, and the nuances of BaaS/DRaaS/MDR.
  • Global Scale: Proven track record of managing distributed technical teams across North America, EMEA, and APJ.
  • Academic/Technical: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field required; MBA or advanced security certifications (CISSP, CISM) highly preferred.
