Automation Anywhere Tech Lead / Senior Developer (REMOTE)

We are seeking an experienced Automation Anywhere Tech Lead/Senior Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in RPA development, solution design, and production support. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Automation Anywhere A360 and a solid technical background in SQL, automation architecture, and Agile delivery.

Must‑Have Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of overall hands‑on experience in development role especially in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), including end‑to‑end design, development, deployment, and support.
  • 4 to 5 years of direct, in‑depth experience with Automation Anywhere A360, including bot development, Design, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Strong SQL expertise, capable of writing complex queries and working with stored procedures (execute, create, alter).
  • Experience working with custom and built‑in queues, specifically Workload Management Queues.
  • RPA tool certifications (Automation Anywhere, UiPath, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience working with Rally (Agile project tracking, user story management).

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Experience in business process improvement, including process mapping and design‑thinking methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Healthcare domain experience supporting automation use cases.
  • Ability to design, develop, test, and optimize automation solutions using Automation Anywhere.
  • Skilled in designing automated solutions aligned with enterprise‑level best practices, architecture standards, and design principles.
  • Experience assisting in requirements gathering and documenting solution design specifications.
  • Ability to build and test automation workflows, including unit and integration testing.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to analyze and resolve automation software issues.
  • Experience participating in solution design reviews and code reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Agentic Automation certification in Automation Anywhere A360 (preferred).

Salary and Other Compensation

The salary for this position is between $90,000 - $130,000k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
