We are actively seeking an Account Manager to join the Mount Prospect, IL team and take on the mission of expanding critical lab services, improving healthcare outcomes, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and healthcare providers.

About the Role

As Accounting and Operations Associate, you’ll play a vital hands‑on role, where you will be deeply embedded in the daily rhythms of finance and operations, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day execution of core processes. You’ll support financial workflows, maintain accurate records, and help the team stay organized and compliant as we scale. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our external Accountant and Operations team in a hands‑on environment where your contributions are noticed and valued – your impact will be meaningful. This role requires a minimum in‑office presence, 4 days a week and will report directly to the Executive Team.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance Support
  • Assist with routine financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in general ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Maintain and monitor customer account records and assist in preparing periodic account summaries and reports
  • Support vendor management, invoice processing, and expense classification
  • Help prepare financial documentation and assist with month‑end close procedures
  • Participate in routine compliance tasks and assist with external reporting needs
Process Management & Optimization
  • Maintain documentation for financial procedures and support improvements in accounting workflows
  • Contribute to the accuracy and timeliness of internal systems and reports
  • Support audit readiness and recordkeeping best practices
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Coordinate incoming payments and documentation
  • Monitor and manage office supply inventories
  • Handle general administrative tasks and help keep day‑to‑day operations running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting support (AP/AR) or finance operations
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Drive)
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage high volumes accurately
  • Able to identify problems and take initiative to solve them without waiting to be told
  • Comfortable working on‑site in a focused, fast‑moving office environment in Mount Prospect, IL.
