We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to drive growth across State, Local Government, Smart Cities, and Departments of Transportation (DOTs). This role focuses on delivering AI-powered solutions that improve public safety, transportation efficiency, and infrastructure monitoring through real-time data and advanced analytics. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic territory plan targeting state agencies, municipalities, and DOTs

Identify, qualify, and close net-new opportunities for AI, data, and smart infrastructure solutions

  • Lead SLED sales cycles (6–18+ months) across agencies and stakeholders

Build and maintain relationships with CIOs, CTOs, transportation leaders, and public sector decision-makers

Translate AI and IoT capabilities into clear, outcome-driven value (e.g., improved safety, reduced congestion)

Navigate public sector procurement processes (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and contract vehicles)

Partner with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as a Premium Partner to deliver co-sell opportunities, joint solutions, and advanced AI implementations

Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and account activity using HubSpot CRM

Represent ClearObject at smart city, transportation, and government technology events Qualifications

5+ years of enterprise or public sector (SLED) sales experience

Proven success selling AI, SaaS, IoT, or advanced analytics solutions

Experience with or exposure to transportation, infrastructure, or smart city initiatives

Strong understanding of government budgeting cycles and procurement processes

Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota

Excellent executive communication and presentation skills Preferred Experience

Background in AI, smart infrastructure, or intelligent transportation solutions

Experience selling cloud-based solutions leveraging GCP or other cloud platforms
